A Typical Day

8am                 Children arrive.

8.30am            We leave for the school run.

9am -12am      We usually go out to a group or on a trip.

12pm - 1pm     Lunch, then playtime and some stories before the youngsters have their naps.

1pm - 2.30pm The younger children have a sleep and the older children get involved in an quieter activity, sometimes this is a good opportunity to spend some special time on a more complicated game, puzzle or activity.

2.30pm            We get the youngsters out of bed and get ready for the school run.

 

2.50pm            We go on the school run.

3.10pm            When the children come out we either head home or we go to a local park or field to play for a while.

3.15pm - 4.45pm When we arrive home the children will either play or we will do an activity, sometimes craft, cooking, special game. If they are tired I sometimes let them watch some children’s television. 

 

4.45pm - 5pm    Serve dinner.

5pm - 6pm         Children are collected.
